"I personally believe you should always have some sort of goal you're trying to achieve"

Hey babes! My name is Michelle Mundy and I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM for 10 years.  I am certified in Resistance Training, Corrective Exercise Training, Group Training and I’m a Women’s Weight-loss Specialist. I like to make sure that you not only have fun with training, but that you learn correct form in strength training and learn to maintain a healthy lifestyle along the way.

 

I am from Newport Beach, California.  I grew up playing any sport you could think of … soccer, softball, lacrosse, swimming, cross country running, etc. I was always staying active from riding my bike to the beach with friends to running with my grandma. Then, I graduated from high school and completely lost myself.  I ended up gaining about 50 lbs. and I was so miserable  with who I was becoming.  I now saw myself as this lazy, angry and sad girl who had no confidence.  I tried every crash diet there was because I wanted fast results.  A week or so would go by, however, and I would give up and think, “Well, this is just how I’m going to look for the rest of my life.” 

 

Fortunately, I woke up one morning after being made fun of for my weight one night out with my friends and thought “This is NOT my story!” I was fed up with my own lame excuses and lack of discipline. I made a commitment to myself that I would get back in shape the right way, with proper nutrition, exercise and the discipline needed to stick to a plan. Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you actually stuck to your personal goals and achieved every single one of them?

 

So, long story short I started lifting weights and exercising daily and completely turned my life around. I made a huge lifestyle change and it was not easy, but it was worth it! Every little struggle I went through led me to be where I am now. I look back at my old self and I am so grateful that I made small changes every day that eventually led to life-long healthy habits.  I am now 40 lbs lighter than that sad girl I was before, and I am so proud of the woman I have become. I can relate to anyone trying to change their lifestyle to be healthier and  happier overall.  I am therefore extremely passionate about what I do for a living. The fact that I can help you change your life and be better each and everyday, gives me such a purpose in life and that's an amazing feeling!
